Verónica Cordeiro (São Paulo, Brazil, 1974) is an artist, curator and writer. She has a MA in Visual Anthropology at the Univer- sity of London and was part of the curato- rial team at the 24th Bienal de São Paulo (Antropofagia, 1998), and curated several long-term independent and institution- al projects. For twenty years she explores the territory of art, developing education- al platforms displaced from conventional contexts. She lives in Uruguay, where she has developed training courses, including the ongoing project Curating in Context and the creation and direction of the cura- torship department of the Centro de Foto- grafia de Montevideo (CdF).
