Born in Lisbon (PT), where he lives and works. Studied Philosophy and History. In his artistic training attended the Contemporary Photography graduation at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon, studying also at Ar.Co and Atelier de Lisboa. He is also a sound designer, having worked in theater, dance, cinema and documentary. The existential drift and issues related to climate change and the Anthropocene have been the main topics of his work over the past year. His artistic practice develops in a multidisciplinary process, combining photography, video and sound. He has participated in several exhibitions, biennials and festivals since 2014, (in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Guarda, Salamanca, Athens, Berlin, Budapest, London and New York), notably: Outubro, Galeria Mute, Lisbon (2019); Voragem, Museu do Douro (2019); The Self(ie) and the Other: Portraiture, PH21 Gallery, Budapest (2019); Interiors, Planet Flow Gallery, Berlin (2019); Ausente - Transversalidades, Galeria do Teatro da Guarda (2018); Ausente - NunHead Art Trail London (2017), Uma Experiência de Silêncio, Biblioteca Camões, Lisbon (2015) e Bienal de V.F. de Xira (2014, 2016, 2018 and 2022). He was selected for the Portuguese Emerging Artists publications in 2018, 2019 and 2020. He received the 1st prize in the Transversalidades festival competition, in 2018, and in the Douro Contemporary Heritage Competition, attributed by the Douro Museum in 2019.
