Born in Avelãs de Caminho (Anadia, Portugal) in 1954, Valter Vinagre studied Photography at AR.CO (Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, Lisbon)1986-1989 and began his career in the late ‘80s making individual exhibitions and participating in various group shows and initiatives.
