Jannis Tordheim, b. 1984 is currently based in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2019 he graduated from The Valand Academy of fine arts in Gothenburg, Sweden. Photography, mainly analogue, is his main medium where he combines his own material with archive images both found and from his family albums. He also intertwines text works, drawings and paintings in his artistic practice. Themes he often connects to is memories, childhood, emotional pain, sexual identity, exklusion and heritage. Currently, Tordheim is finishing his long term project Papiga Mou.
