NERVO – Observatory of Portuguese Photobooks is an online platform dedicated to the creation, research and dissemination of photobooks in Portuguese. It brings together an inclusive library of publications from the 21st century and promotes new visualities and contemporary editorial practices.

Directed by Ângela Ferreira and Rodrigo Peixoto, and developed by a collective of photographers and researchers, the platform constitutes an active observatory of the contemporary Portuguese photobook ecosystem.
