Who has taught You? — Nobody" is a Pierrot le Fou fascicle based on an exhibition with the same title, which was presented at Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto between April 21 and June 25, 2016. The exhibition was curated by Lúcia Almeida Matos and Susana Lourenço Marques. It revisits the project of creative expression activities conceived and carried out by Elvira Leite, involving the residents of Largo de Pena Ventosa in the Sé neighborhood of Porto, following the discontinuation of the Local Support Ambulatory Service (SAAL) in 1976. Maria Elvira Vieira Pereira Leite (born 1936) completed her Painting course at the Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto in 1964. Despite her early artistic success, she chose a career as a teacher after completing the Pedagogic Sciences course. From 1976 onward, she dedicated herself to cultural animation activities. She served as a UNESCO consultant for art education in Portuguese-speaking countries and, at the invitation of the Portuguese government, planned and coordinated training activities for Portuguese immigrant women in various European countries. She was also a fellow of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation for the creation of educational materials in the artistic field and acted as a consultant for institutions like the Museu Nacional Soares dos Reis, the Regional Traditional Arts Centre, and the Educational Service of the Fundação de Serralves.
